Extrusion Line Helper

EXTRUSION LINE HELPER: Starkville, MS. The Extruder Helper supports the operator with changeovers and final check of product leaving the line and is responsible for the operation of the printers. Pay is $23.16/hr. plus $1 night shift premium. 7PM – 7AM.
Knowledge/Skills
- Common hand/measurement tools
- Follow directions safely
- Interpret PO’s and pre-plan jobs/shift priorities
- Knowledge of extrusion tooling
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledgeable of take-up gear ratio and wire size
Working Conditions
Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use proper techniques to lift up to 45 pounds. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments normally found in a prefabricated building without climate-control. Extruders give off a substantial amount of radiant heat. The hopper vacuums, motors, air-wipes and other machinery can be quite noisy.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
A resume is required
